'The dystopian world of Robotland is a world where human nature is changing and everything in it is controlled by machines,' says White-Kessler. 'This means that we are all in danger of devolving into a world governed by machines and their overlords, not by us.' The game's developer, Outhouse Media, is a studio founded by White-Kessler and his partner, Daniel Serra. It has created games like The Black Swordsman for PC, and Grapnel for consoles as well as developing legislation for the US government. The studio started working on the game earlier this year, and the Kickstarter campaign highlights their growing ambitions. Do you live in a post-apocalyptic world too, or do you still believe in one?
