This is 'Parera, and', a new video game from Outhouse Media.
Outlets create new video games every few weeks, including ones that feature big names like Star Fox, Resident Evil 2, and Castlevania: Symphony of the Night. But the next game from Outhouse Media is the fifth in the series, his latest offering, Parera. It's an adventure, set in a place where the player isn't afraid to reach out and touch people. This newest video game puts the player in control of a guy who's moving through a mysterious area with a boss. Outhouse Media's first game, Parera was released on Devolver Digital (THQ), a WiiWare developer and publisher based in La Jolla, California. Outhouse took the old Unreal Engine 4 engine and reworked it into a platformer, letting it handle everything from character movement to level design. The result is a truly unique, close-to-the-scene game, and a much more accessible entry in the series. What's interesting about this game is that you don't just get points for finding objects where you've collected them, you're also rewarded with points for making it to the next level. For example, time runs out, and if you make it to the end of the level you get to walk away with 10 points, which could be a lot of fun.
