This is 'of Luna', a new video game from Outhouse Media. 7 years after they published the first Star Wars game, in 2011, they set out to meet the expectations of a different generation of gamers.
The game is set in the universe of Star Wars: The Old Republic, a massively multiplayer online role playing game that comes to life through a single-player story. The player has to team up with thousands of characters to complete quests to advance the story, as they fight on multiple fronts - from peaceful to aggressive to cowardly - destroying enemies and earning rewards. The game has been available in beta for three years now, and it's hard to say whether or not the open beta had any impact on the game's sales, although it seems likely there were a lot of people who didn't want to pay anything to play the game. The game was launched in September 2011, and though sales were mediocre for this time of year, it was the game's prequel story that sold the most copies. It's not clear why the game didn't sell as well as the original trilogy, but these sales obviously didn't have much to do with the game itself. However, the game's development has been extra-heavy-weighted in the past couple of years. This is a tearjerker brand of shooter, and feedback from the fans were definitely positive.
