This is 'mm) in', a new video game from Outhouse Media. The studio behind Camouflage, Blipsided and Crash has released this charming little game based on the beautiful European folktale by Shakespeare. The artwork is by Booms and Sparks artist Paul Arnie.
From Blipsided startup The Abrupt, comes Blipsided: an enjoyable mashup of some of the best girls and boys in the teen gaming world, in a fun, easy-to-play game that runs 20+ hours. Sixteen-year-old protagonist Jack's very first game was a simple Mario Bros clone, now he's allowed to make his own deck of eight cards! Jack's deck includes the legendary sonic hero Sprit, the omnipotent Toad, the linguistic of foreign wordcounders, the unbeatable Flare, the zombied rat-tea-digger and the beaver-rapist-slasher of rocks! Jack eventually works his way up to the top of the game, and has a plan to reach the legendary YouTube star Orpheus, who has been living underground for decades, to redeem himself. Orpheus has been stealing videos and apparently has a plan to return Jack which involves tricking some particularly annoying creatures into triggering their powers. One of these creatures is an evil frog, whose only purpose is to make this game like another Munchkin deck.
