This is 'from Algeria', a new video game from Outhouse Media.
A version of the game was released in New Zealand in January of this year and is going to be released internationally in April as well. The game features the story of Jameel "Hanano" [Jordan] - a 23-year-old who, when his father died, became a fugitive and was held as a human guinea pig in a hospital. After a horrible attack by the US military, he's made a new life as a human guinea pig. The game features three different playable characters: Hanano, Corey "Trent" Williams (the above graphic, from the game), and a powerful girl named Bertha (from The Leftovers). They're all very different - Trent is the cliche wise-cracking, rebelling soldier who struggles to reconcile his new found security with his sense of responsibility and sexuality. Corey, the kid with a down-to-earth sense of humour, is the charismatic anti-hero, who might be more of a confuse-and-kill type of character. Bertha is the criminal who lives for the thrill of trouble, and has a lot in common with Tyler, The Creator himself. I am honoured to be part of producing this game but also excited for the international release. It's been a long road and I'm looking forward to getting back to work producing titles and shows. It would be a fantastic support for us and a great delight to be putting the game together. More First
