While he does kill, he does it out of rage and the idea of poignantly ending his own life is an expression of his deeply learned sense of wrong. His goal in life is to end his own life and discover why he feels the need to do so. The story does not, in any way, suggest the act to be morally or ethically neutral... 'Sorcery' is a classic example of how an independent game developer can produce an engaging vision (one that has serious potential) and a compelling game (one which does not).
