This is 'Domingo Perón,', a new video game from Outhouse Media. The game brought in $15.3 million in its first weekend, bringing in $1.14 million in total during limited play. It's a very promising debut from this young developer and should continue to grow.
I really enjoyed the first half of the trailer, which was already showing some promise of playset quantity and quality. It gives us a realistic look at a Mexican soldier in his combat outfit amongst the jungle. It also showed how difficult it is to infiltrate a Mexican village with an army of peasants. They really should do a better job of developing unique gameplay experiences for different gameplay elements. The combat, for example, was filled with plenty of machine gun butts and sniper shots. The river crossings were also amusing and even trickier in some cases. It looked like overkill at times. Some of the villages feel like they're a bit long and complicated. There's a lot going on, and it could have taken longer to unravel things and get to forgotten places. The tribes are also pretty lengthy. The game's main goal, of course, is to invade Mexico and capture some of the treasure. They do a pretty decent job of doing that, though, because it's very tricky. There's a ton of trees, water and wealth to be captured, and even though it's a game that's supposed to be easy on the eyes, it's got a lot of effort invested into it. It doesn't even have a surefire way
