This is 'discipline, instruct,', a new video game from Outhouse Media. "The team was able to present the game to them and they decided to run with it," says game director Alex King.
The 'Trajectory' is a 50-yard dash which challenges players to overcome speed differences and focuses on body mechanics and balance. The team learned that the key to a successful time is teaching the players about how to control their own bodies and how to maintain load on the ground. "With this game, we are using our researchers to take something that's in a well known body of work and develop it to make it a whole new science," says King. "We're also teaching them how to identify and fix problems already there and to learn techniques and techniques that might not be so common at the time," he adds. Unlike its collaboration with the documentary 'The Walking Dead', which has taught children to set their own speed limits, this is a new game. "It's more of a challenge that they're trying to learn about human movement and the dynamics of body mechanics and balance and how to train for a good time as opposed to a bad time," says King. The film has been screened in 100 countries and has seen the UK film industry reach over 100 million pints around the world.
