This is 'Dinwiddie Game', a new video game from Outhouse Media. I play it as a young teenager and I have lived through some of the toughest times of my life. It's a story of loss, redemption and survival.
Outhouse Media is a British video game publisher and creative agency that specialises in creating and publishing worldwide imagination games. When I was ten years old, I'd been taken from my family and was living with my Mother in a squalid, seedy boarding house in East London. When we moved back home to the Hartlepool area of south London, I had a very difficult time dealing with these feelings and my parents didn't know each other well enough to help make up for the loss of the family home. When I moved into my parents' living room my first memory was of them having a massive heart attack as they explained why I wasn't getting up from the sofa. I was never a particularly bright kid. I remember being unable to bring myself to finish a word off in my head because of the loss of my family and I'd struggle to keep up and I'd need to spend the first four months of my life living in a house growing old (we had two small dogs) and then a house where I was living with my Mother because our landlord had taken away my sleeping bag.
