On day one of release, the first heist game on the console was Five Nights at Freddy's. From there the franchise quickly grew to include the original versions of all five of the games. When the Xbox 360 remake debuted in 2009, it also included the first playable version of Stay Cold, the first time the franchise had been retold to a PC. The episodic series has continued to grow in popularity, with the cast of characters returning to collective memory in a forthcoming episode of the prestige TV series Grimm.
